Outlawed Relic

In the year 2142, rally car racing had become an outlawed relic of humanity’s reckless past. With global governments enforcing strict energy quotas and autonomous vehicles dominating the roads, the visceral thrill of tearing through winding dirt tracks was deemed an affront to societal order. Yet, in the shadow of abandoned highways and within the depths of abandoned mining quarries, a secret network of racers persisted. Piloting heavily modified relics from a bygone era, these drivers risked everything for the exhilaration of speed and the roar of engines. Discovery meant severe punishment—imprisonment or worse—but for the racers, the cost was worth reclaiming a fleeting moment of freedom in a world ruled by control.
